DESCRIPTION:\nReally looking forward to our next lunchtime concert on Thursday 17 October @ 1pm. Award-winning Venezuelan bassoonist Andres Yauri has performed at Wigmore Hall and recently gave the world premiere of Stephen Hough’s Bridgewater (Romantic Idyll) for bassoon and string orchestra. Andres regularly works with leading orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra and Chineke! Orchestra.\n\n\n\nGiulia Contaldo (a regular at Howdenshire Music) recently performed Schumann’s Piano Concerto with the BBC Philharmonic, broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 (“a dashing account” – The Guardian).
