Accordionist Ryan Corbett is a BBC New Generation artist and a Classic FM Rising Star. Following his spellbinding performance at Howden in 2023, he now returns by popular demand, along with international award-winning accordionist Djordje Gajic, for double the excitement!

Ryan Corbett is a BBC New Generation artist, Royal Over-Seas League Gold Medallist and Classic FM Rising Star, and has been hailed by Sir James MacMillan as “one of the most astonishing and surprising newcomers in Scottish music.” A leading exponent of his instrument, he has given over eight hours of radio broadcasts and a televised performance at the Scottish Coronation of King Charles III.

Recent seasons have seen him give recitals across Europe at venues including the Berlin Philharmonie, and he makes his debut at London’s Wigmore Hall this year. Ryan has performed with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Symphony Orchestra and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. He won first prize at the 2022 Bromsgrove International Musicians’ competition and is a prize winner of international accordion competitions in Italy, Germany, and China.

Djordje Gajic began his musical studies in Serbia at the age of six and is a graduate of the Russian Academy of Music.

The winner of numerous top international prizes, Djordje has made television and radio broadcasts for the BBC, RTS Serbia, RTR Russia and RAI Italy. He has also performed with acclaimed orchestras and ensembles including the Russian State Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra (BBC Proms, London). Djordje is a prolific recitalist throughout Europe (Andorra, Holland, France, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Italy, Malta, Norway and Britain) and also in Australia, Russia, Bahrain and Tunisia.
